More sculptures

This was my first head sculpture from my second sculpture class I took in 2004. It had been years since I had taken any art classes and I was happy that sculpting came back to me naturally.

This was a guy from Tanzia, his name was Yuyi. We all remembered him the most since he was so nice and interesting compared to the vast wasteland of Rexburg Idaho. This is one of my favorites from that class.

Fun angle shot. Love the ghosts in the background.

This is actually from my first sculpting class, my first real bust. We did other things in that class that were small. This one was actually hard for me to do since I hadn't taken a Life Drawing class yet and didn't know anatomy that well.

Of all the sculptures that I have kept, these are just a few of my favorites. Although my best one is at my parents house, so next time I go to California I will have to take a few shots of it and post it here.

First sculpture from 2000

This was a trumpe l'oeil I had to do for my first sculpture class. I loved making it and especially love people's reactions to when they see it. My boys like playing with it more than anything but it is fragile in parts and a piece broke off, luckily it glued back together just fine. I will be digging out my other sculptures and posting them on here since they are part of my works and it is something I miss doing incredibly so.
This is my favorite part, the hanging shoelace inside the shoe. I painted it red in memory of my favorite red cons from High School that Stephanie gave me.
