Ending the old year

 Watercolor for my friend who recently was married.

 A trial in acrylics, I was bored and wanted to experiment.

 Pastels with water added, it was a fun experiment. I hated pastels before this but now I know how to use them and it makes for a nice look.

Top here is my middle boy who posed for us for art class this week. I am very proud of him for sitting so still for me, and I loved how I was able to capture his look in such a simple sketch.

Below here is Suko, her owners had to put her down recently because of cancer and she was no longer eating or drinking. I had the chance to meet this sweet cat before she passed and wanted to give her family a little gift to remember her by.
